Jennifer Gorin - Administrator
Jennifer Gorin has been with Heather Ridge for 13 years. She started out working as a Homemaker, then in the Activities Department, before being promoted to the Human Resources Director. In 2006 she was promoted to Director of Heather Ridge. She has extensive training in Human Resources; Worker’s Compensation and holds an Administrator’s Certificate in Long Term Health Care.
Jennifer is the daughter of Gloria Prose, who is the President and Owner of Heather Ridge. She is married with three children. “I grew up in this industry, and believe in my heart the Heather Ridge is the best facility for Assisted Living in Stark County.”

Sheila James - Public Relations Director
Sheila joined the Heather Ridge family in 1997 as a nurse’s aide. After outstanding performance and dementia care and staff training, she advanced her position to Nurse Aide Supervisor. After excelling in that position, she was promoted to Public Relations Director. She highly trained in marketing and quality assurance. Her compassion and genuine concern for the elderly is greatly appreciated by staff, family members, and our residents.
She is the loving mother of two beautiful children. Her son is a full time college student and works at Heather Ridge, and her daughter volunteers here at Heather Ridge on a regular basis. Sheila loves spending time participating in her children’s school functions.

Pamela Koury - Office Manager
Pam joined the Heather Ridge Commons Family in 2007 as their office manager. She has been in the accounting and administration field of business for 38 years. She has lived in this area all of her life. Married to Pat for 34 years with two college graduated children; Maria and Patrick. (Yea!) She enjoys walking every day, bowling and swimming. Pam says, "Heather Ridge is a great place to work, to live, and to visit. Come join us!"

Merle West
Merle West joined the Heather Ridge family in 1999. He came to Heather Ridge with over twenty years in electrical and HVAC. He is retired Navy, married with two daughters and three grandchildren. “Heather Ridge isn’t just a job it’s an adventure!" |
Scott Adams - Dietary Director
Scott Adams joined Heather Ridge’s Dietary Department in 2007. He made a career jump from welding to the field of diet and nutrition after realizing that he had a deep interest a healthy lifestyle (he practices Yoga too!) and natural foods. Scott is a veteran of the Gulf War having served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is an avid home brewer and winemaker as well. |
